ME....
I love my career!
I like math, numbers, logic. I enjoy helping students overcome
their fear of the four letter word: M.A.T.H. Math is a daily
requirement for life and should be fun. With persistence and willingness to work, my students learn that. I try to help students break down math into smaller, simpler problems that they can conquer.
More importantly, I believe in helping students develop good character traits and work ethics. The traits of good character that a young person needs to succeed in adult life should be reinforced throughout their time in school. I seek to not only help develop better students, but help develop better people,
and responsible citizens.
I have been blessed with a wonderful family starting with very loving and dedicated husband, Jeff, who works at the School Town of Munster. Jeff and I have three children who keep us busy and on our toes. Landon, who is almost six, is thrilled to enjoy gym time with daddy, pretend and tickles with mommy, and anything OUTSIDE. He is looking forward to the day when we will allow him to mow the lawn all by himself. Kendal just turned four this July and dances to her own beat. She is ALWAYS smiling, loves singing and dancing or performing tricks in our living room if she isn't outside driving her new Frozen Jeep, belting out Frozen tunes. Our youngest, Benjamin, is just over a year and is eager to keep up with his siblings. He decided to start walking before 11 months and at 14 months started climbing the ladder to get into his brother's bunk bed. Yikes! He is a happy boy.
